UPDATE of 2008 Board of Directors Election

The Nominating Committee has selected the following candidates for this year's 2008 Board of Directors Election:

  • David Karthauser

    David Karthauser, retired IBM employee, has been a member of YOUR Federal Credit Union since 1967. David began volunteering on the Supervisory Committee in 1997. Shortly after, he began serving on the Board, most currently as Vice Chair. David also serves on the Personnel Committee. He has represented the Board in many capacities and has a strong passion for E-services.

    Dave finds great pleasure in serving the members of YOUR Federal Credit Union and continuing to promote the credit union difference.

  • Robert Ganson

    Robert Ganson has been a member of YOUR Federal Credit Union since 1976 and has served on the Board since 1996 in various positions including Chair of the Information Technology Committee, Building Committee and currently Secretary of the Board. Robert has been key in testing for Y2K, two major software conversions, the planning for the building of the Credit Union's main office, as well as several branch location build-outs.

    During his career with IBM, Robert specialized in supporting and marketing to community services customers, which included banks, credit union and thrifts.

  • Anthony Hill

    Anthony Hill has been a member of YOUR Federal Credit Union since 1998 and has worked for IBM for more than 22 years. His background at IBM includes I.T. Security, Planning, Financial Analysis and Accounting.

    Anthony has served as a volunteer for more than 3 years as a member of the Supervisory Committee and was appointed Board Director in October of 2007, fulfilling an unexpired term. Anthony feels his 22 years of experience in finance, planning and business controls are a great match with the functions required of a board member. He also strongly believes in the services the Credit Union offers.



Any member who wishes to pursue election by petition must send a Letter of Intent and Resume of Qualifications to seek election BY PETITION to the Nominating Committee to be received no later than 2:00 p.m. CST, Monday, March 17, 2008. Facsimile copies of the Letter of Intent and Resume of Qualifications may be sent to 214.574.3163 to be received not later than 2:00 p.m. CST, Monday, March 17, 2008.

Petition Candidates must provide to the Nominating Committee a petition with a minimum 170 signatures of eligible, active members of the credit union. Eligible members must be at least 18 years of age and have an open and active account with Your FCU. The Petition Document must have members name printed, address, city, state and signature. Members will not be furnished a listing of credit union members in order to solicit petitions.
